Doug’s Origins

Here is a post I wrote in 2008 about my origins as a programmer. That was back when I was making my transition to web programming via Ruby on Rails at the very start of my journey with 8th Light.

Since then I’ve done dozens of projects in all kinds of stacks. I’ve learned a lot about leadership and growing a company. So here I am, trying to take all that knowledge and experience and pour it into the start of a new company.
